Girl Scout Day 2025
Gettysburg and Adams County, Pennsylvania
Saturday, September 20, 2025

Girl Scout Day 2025 in Gettysburg and Adams County is sure to give Girl Scouts, leaders and guests of all ages an experience they will never forget.
Visiting Gettysburg is something most children remember for the rest of their lives. Whether they go with their troop or school group or on a family vacation, being at the scene of one of the most important moments in American history leaves an impression like no other.
An exceptional story is woven together for Girl Scout Day, tailored for each child or adult who takes the opportunity to learn something new, grow and have fun, all at the same time.
Whether discovering the details of the battle from different perspectives, feeling what families endured during that harrowing time in 1863, understanding how World War II and the Civil War are intertwined in Gettysburg, or spending time in the Adams County countryside, on a fruit farm or with miniature horses, these are the kinds of moments waiting for guests at Girl Scout Day.
Choose any three attraction locations, all among the best that Gettysburg and Adams County have to offer. This is an exclusive Girl Scout experience, a carefully curated set of attractions chosen to suit all levels of interests. Your attraction experience is discounted for Girl Scouts and adults at significant savings over regular ticket prices.
Two new sites and a more flexible way to register have been added this year.
Civil War Tails Diorama Museum and Gettysburg Diorama & History Center are new, both giving you a unique bird’s eye view of the battle.
You can choose any attraction from fourteen locations being offered. And, if you want to do even more, you can add an additional attraction to your day.
So go ahead, no matter where you live, which Girl Scout troop you belong to, or if you just want to tag along with your favorite Girl Scout group and have your own unique Gettysburg experience, registering is easy.
Go here and register your group through Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania. Any Girl Scout and leader from any troop anywhere can register! If you have any questions about registration, please contact GSHPA directly at memberservices@gshpa.org
