28th Gettysburg Brass Band Festival

Several days of outstanding brass band music are on tap and all around the town from June 4th to June 8th. The 28th Annual Gettysburg Brass Band Festival returns in 2025 with a variety of performances from Seminary Ridge into Lincoln Square and all the way down Steinwehr Ave.

Community Band Night kicks off the festival at 6:30pm on June 4th with the Adams County Community Band and Generations Big Band at the Main Stage at the Gettysburg Lutheran Seminary. The event continues Thursday June 5th with the Tuba Open Golf Benefit at Carroll Valley Golf Course (8am) and the Annual Al Fresco Jazz Brass Festival Benefit at the Main Stage at the Gettysburg Lutheran Seminary (6:30pm.)

The Festival continues through the week with afternoon and evening performances from bands from Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and New Jersey. See the schedule for the complete list of bands, performances, dates and times.

The Gettysburg Brass Band Festival provides an outstanding experience for adult and student brass musicians looking for performance opportunities after high school, offers a compelling reason for people to visit Gettysburg, and strives to improve the quality of life in our town through live music performance.
