Before and After Gettysburg: A Bus Tour with Tim Smith

Because of its notoriety as the site of the greatest battle in American History, the fields of Gettysburg enjoy heavy visitation among those who are students of the Civil War. Beyond the three days of fighting, there were skirmishes and encampments all across South Central Pennsylvania before and after the battle.

Join Timothy H. Smith as we visit some of the lesser-known sites in Adams County associated with the Gettysburg Campaign. Topics discussed will include Jeb Stuart’s Raid in October 1862, Jubal’s Early’s Raid on June 26, 1863, and Confederate Retreat from Gettysburg on July 5 and 6, 1863.
