Bike Week Carriage Tours at Silvershire

In recognition of “Bike Week” come and enjoy a one-hour horse-drawn carriage tour at Silvershire Farm Just 15 minutes north of downtown Gettysburg, PA. See additional tour times for Bike Week. Tour times will be at 9am and 11am on July 11th through the 14th.

Your 2-horsepower tour will take you through rolling hills, beautiful countryside landscapes, and orchards of Adams County as you travel through two working farms. The farms are filling up with various fruits and crops in preparation for the fall harvest.

Enjoy the leisurely and relaxing pace of your carriage as it is pulled by two gentle giants, our Shire draft horses. Along the way you will meet our Elk herd and a variety of other animals.

We will narrate your journey providing you with information about the Shire horses, the orchards, and the surrounding countryside during the Civil War Battle.

During your tour there is a photo stop where you can meet and take pictures with your team. The stop overlooks the entire valley. At the end of the tour, you can feed all the horses at the farm treats.
