Church of the Presidents Inaugural Tour Event

Gettysburg Presbyterian Church, located at 208 Baltimore Street, Gettysburg, presents its inaugural event for “The Church of the Presidents” history tour. Tuesday, April 22 starting at 11, the tour will explore the history of the Church and its connection with 3 Presidents: Abraham Lincoln, Dwight Eisenhower, and Richard Nixon.

Lincoln attended service at the Presbyterian Church the day he delivered the Gettysburg Address, while Ike and Mamie attended the church regularly when they resided at their Gettysburg farm. Larry Wolf, an elder in the church, will guide guests and explain the significance of several historical artifacts, including the Eisenhower flag, over the course of an hour.

To attend, please assemble at Fellowship Hall (the room that leads from the drive along the side of the church.) The group size will be limited to 10 visitors so reserve your place on the tour by emailing Larry Wolf at larrywolf916@yahoo.com
