Civilian Casualties of the Battle

It is often said that Jennie Wade was the only civilian casualty of the Battle of Gettysburg. While she was the only citizen of Gettysburg to be killed during the three days of fighting, others died as a direct result of the battle, were wounded during the fighting, or taken prisoner by the invading army.

Join ACHS Historian Tim Smith for this free, public program as he tells the little known stories of some 30 civilian casualties from the battle.
