D-Day: 80 Years Later

There are sacred dates that are emblazoned on the nation’s memory. June 6 is one of them. It marks the turning of the tide as American and Allied forces hit the beaches of Normandy precisely 80 years ago. The most horrifying and murderous conflict in the history of humanity was suddenly on a path to its end. Paris was freed within two months. Berlin fell within 10.

Join us to mark the 80th Anniversary of D-Day with a lively slideshow presentation by Licensed Battlefield Guide Ralph Siegel to review the historic campaign and to show Gettysburg’s connections to it through the D-Day veterans interred at the Gettysburg National Cemetery.

Tickets are free for ACHS members and $10/general admission. Reserve your tickets here: https://tinyurl.com/bdfjmtpy
