Join the Gettysburg Foundation in Gettysburg National Cemetery to commemorate the dedication of the National Cemetery of November 1863. This solemn event features a luminary candle on all of the 3,512 Civil War soldiers’ graves. Names of the fallen soldiers are read throughout the evening.
Sponsor a luminary candle in honor or memory of a loved one. The Gettysburg Foundation is accepting candle sponsorship purchases by phone, 717-334-2436, or online at GettysburgFoundation.org through November 3, 2023.
The event is dependent on favorable weather conditions.
