Experience the musical sounds of the American Civil War era at Gettysburg National Military Park’s 26th annual Music Muster.

On Friday and Saturday, August 4 and 5, 2023, park visitors can hear ballads, folk songs, field music and marches that were popular in the mid-19th century.

Performers this year include: The Libby Prison Minstrels, Hudson and Clark, Fort Delaware Cornet Band, Steve and Lisa Ball, Jeff Greenawalt, Civil War Comrades and the 46th Pennsylvania Band.

On Saturday, a Civil War dance will also be featured by the Victorian Dance Ensemble in the Group Lobby inside the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center.

All performances are free and open to the public.

Music will begin Friday, August 4, at Noon, at the Park Amphitheater on West Confederate Avenue and continue throughout the day on Saturday, August 5. Additional concerts are being held Friday and Saturday nights. All programs are free and open to the public.

Schedule subject to change. Please park in designated locations only.

Weather modifications:

In the event of thunderstorm or tornado warnings, or a heat index in excess of 105 degrees, all programs will be canceled.

In the event of a heat index in excess of 91 degrees, programs will be shortened and modified.
