address

Adams County Arts Council Arts Education Center

,

For the Adams County Arts Council’s next virtual 3rdthursdaynoon program on June 18, Arts Outreach Coordinator Lisa Cadigan will present a program titled “Creative Connections: Why We Need Introspection & Reflection to Build Community.”  Lisa will share strategies for using introspection and reflection to not only spark creativity, but also to engage community in new ways. While we were confined at home, we were forced to slow down, but there are ways this can be a blessing that leads us to new, innovative ways of living.  The hour-long noon program is free via Zoom but registration is required by emailing aa@adamsarts.org.

Lisa has spent the past 18 years working primarily as a freelance graphic designer as the sole proprietor of Cadigan Creative. With a M.A. in Theatre from Indiana University and a B.A. in Theatre and Communications from James Madison University, she stays active as a theatre artist, serving as an adjunct instructor in the theatre arts at Penn State Harrisburg and Gettysburg College, and has directed performance projects at Gettysburg College. She sings with the jazz ensemble Pomona’s Trio, for whom she has been a vocalist since 2011. For more information about Lisa’s work, visit www.cadigancreative.com.  For information about the Arts Council’s summer camps, classes, and membership, contact 717-334-5006, aa@adamsarts.org or visit adamsarts.org.  The mission of the Adams County Arts Council is to cultivate an arts-rich community.
