58th Catoctin Colorfest

If you attended the National Apple Harvest Festival on Oct 1-2, you might want to consider this regional event when venturing outside Adams County during your visit. 

Founded to bring awareness to the beautiful Catoctin Mountains and support Thurmont and its surrounding community, Catoctin Fest is located at the base of the Mountains in Frederick County, Maryland. The town of Thurmont is easily accessible via U.S. Route 15 and is a pleasant, scenic drive from points north and south.

Use the address for Catoctin High School, 14745 Sabillasville Rd, Thurmont, MD 21788, to navigate to the main shuttle bus parking area.  A shuttle bus service is available throughout the day from 8 AM to 6 PM.

Admission to Colorfest is free, but there’s a nominal fee at the parking locations throughout town.
