Annual Holiday House Tour and Tasting – CANCELLED

You will be able tour homes or business that are charming and unique and decorated for the season. Learn the history and get a sample of food and drink at each place. Get to know what Gettysburg has to offer.

This tour is self-guided and may be completed in any order. Bring your paid receipt to receive a wristband and program at your first stop. Tickets can be purchased here. The Dobbin House gift shop will be selling tickets on the day of the tour as well. The tour will go on rain or snow. All proceeds will be donated to the South Central Community Actions Program. We look forward to having you on the tour and we thank you for your support!

Several properties are offering pre-tour events:

• Tours of the Dobbin House (89 Steinwehr Avenue, Gettysburg) will be available starting at 9am until 11am.
• Lightner Farmhouse (2350 Baltimore Pike, Gettysburg) is offering a Civil War medicine demonstration at 10am, 10:45am and 11:30am. This is a free ticketed event and reservations can be made by phoning 717-337-9508 due to limited space.
• At 8pm the program “Songs and Stories from a Civil War Hospital” will be offered at Christ Lutheran Church (30 Chambersburg Street, Gettysburg) with emphasis on Civil War Christmas. This is a free program and no ticket is required. A musical prelude begins at 7:30pm.
