Join us as we celebrate the 160th Commemoration of the Battle of Hanover starting at Guthrie Memorial Library from 10:15 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. for Matthew Dodd’s “Songs & Stories of the Civil War” in the Bare Center. Matthew will sing and play the acoustic guitar, banjo, mandolin, and harmonica to share the stories of the people and soldiers from that time. Bring the whole family to get your free Heart of Hanover Trails maps and “Little Lincoln” provided by Main Street Hanover and Destination Gettysburg.

Starting at 1 p.m. historians Marc Charisse and Matt Jackson will give a free, guided walking tour of the Heart of Hanover Trails beginning at the Neas House, operated by the Hanover Area Historical Society, who will be flying a Civil War-era reproduction flag and displaying period clothing from noon to 3 p.m.

This event is free and family-friendly.
