The Jenny Wade House welcomes Bernadette Loeffel-Atkins, author of “Widows Weeds and Weeping Veils” on Saturday, October 21st from 11a.m. to 2p.m. Bernadette will discuss Victorian mourning customs, and will have a display of authentic mourning items. She will also be signing her popular book. The event is free to the public.
