Historic Rock Ford was home to Edward Hand, an adjutant to General George Washington during the American Revolution. The mansion is on the National Register of Historic Places and is widely considered to be one of the most important examples of Georgian domestic architecture in Pennsylvania. Following a guided tour you will depart for the Lancaster Central Market which was established in 1730. The downtown Market House built in 1889 boasts over 60 local vendors with an abundance of local produce, dairy, meat and gourmet prepared foods. You will certainly not leave this place on an empty stomach! The ticket includes transportation and the guided tour of Historic Rock Ford.
