Through Columbus Day weekend, visit Eisenhower National Historic Site for a tour of the Eisenhower home and grounds.

The home and farm of our 34th President, the Eisenhower National Historic Site provides a warm and personal look at the home life of Dwight and Mamie Eisenhower. The Eisenhowers hosted family, friends, heads of state and diplomats at their Gettysburg home. This is the only home the Eisenhowers owned.

With its original furnishings and décor, the home offers an intimate perspective of home life for the Eisenhowers in the 1950s. A tour of the property includes the charming home, putting green, bountiful garden, entertainment patio, cattle barns and a skeet and trap shoot.

Visit Eisenhower National Historic Site. The Eisenhower home is now open for tours Thursdays through Mondays, 10 a.m-5 p.m. Regular shuttles operate on days the Eisenhower home is open for tours. Shuttles depart the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center each hour beginning at 9:30 a.m. with the last shuttle at 3:30 p.m. The last returning shuttle departs the historic site at approximately 5 p.m.
