Enjoy the beauty of fall in southern York County as you travel to Hanover Junction through the scenic Heritage Rail Trail County Park. Our historic PRR GP9 Diesel Locomotive built in 1959 will take you back in time to the 1860s when President Abraham Lincoln rode these tracks on his way to Gettysburg to deliver the Gettysburg Address. The excursion includes a 20-minute stopover at the Hanover Junction Museum and a history of the area’s towns and villages.

Enjoy live music by the Hammer Creek Bluegrass Band during your stopover at Hanover Junction!

(Wheelchair lift is not available at Hanover Junction; passengers who wish to exit the train must be able to climb up and down six steps without crew assistance.)

The coaches are pushed and pulled by our vintage diesel locomotive. This excursion is 2 ½ hours.

Tickets will be printed and available for pick up at the ticket booth on the day of the excursion. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to boarding.
