The 2020 Spring Seminar will kickoff on Friday evening, October 16 at 6:30pm with participant registration and a reception at the Gettysburg Heritage Center at 297 Steinwehr Ave. Beginning at 7pm that evening, Licensed Battlefield Guide Tony Nicastro will establish the seminar theme of engagements and events often overlooked and perhaps not considered at Gettysburg. Tony will review topographical and terrain assumptions held militarily in 1863 at Gettysburg.
The body of this seminar will kickoff the next day on Saturday, October 17th at 8am at the Hilton Garden Inn with a light breakfast and coffee. Field presentations include bus transportation commencing at 8:30am.
Saturday, October 17th Schedule:
8:30am – Licensed Battlefield Guide Jim Hessler will present “I’ll lead you this time boys!”, the Battle of Hunterstown
10:30am – Honorary LBG Dean Shultz will present “East of Rock”
Noon – Lunch at the Hilton Garden Inn
1pm – Licensed Battlefield Guide Chris Army will present “West of Willoughby Run & The Fight for the Harmon Farm”
3pm – Licensed Battlefield Guide Jim Hueting will present “The Action at the Bliss Farm: Or Making a Molehill out of a Mountain?”
4:30pm – Summary comments and final wrap up at the Hilton Garden Inn
