The Northern Central Railway, in partnership with YCEA Trail Towns, will be hosting special winter train excursions to Glen Rock & Seven Valleys during the 2021 event FestvICE presented by York Traditions Bank!
Join us on this special excursion to visit the ice sculptures in Glen Rock, Railroad, and New Freedom, where you’ll have 20 – 25 minutes to disembark the train and view the ice-cold art on display in each town. Passengers who wish to exit the train must be able to climb up and down 6 steps at each stop without crew assistance.
Don’t miss our special guest – The Ice Princess – who is joining you on the ride and ice sculpture visits!
While checking out the New Freedom ice sculptures, visit the Stewartstown Smoke House and GillIce food trucks! They will be parked in the High Street lot next to Marge Goodfellow Park from 11am to 6pm on Saturday and 11am to 4pm on Sunday. (Food and beverages, excluding water, are not permitted on the train.)
The coaches are pushed and pulled by our vintage diesel locomotive.
This excursion is 2 hours.
