Grand Reopening of Cashtown Inn

Join us for a fun filled day enjoying this beautiful historic place!

Enjoy complimentary tours of the Inn which is decorated for fall. Tour the cellar that was built on top of a spring and was used as a hospital during the battle of Gettysburg. Reenactors and living history presentations will be inside and out.

Betsy Barnicle, a strolling violinist/fiddler, will perform from 10am-4pm. Browse through our newly opened General Store, where you can find Cashtown Inn souvenirs, shirts and more! Free cookies, cider, and pumpkin painting while supplies last. There will also be face painting, balloon creations, gem mining, bakery items, popcorn, Pork BBQ sandwiches, drinks and more for sale. Experience historic photography and authentic tintypes, samples and bottle purchases from local beverage makers, grab n go flowers, and a free concert on the hill at 4pm. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy the show!

The preferred payment method will be cash, after all you are visiting the CASHtown Inn – by the time you leave we are certain you will know how the town got it’s name.
