Heart of Hanover Day

Come over to Historic Hanover for full day of events to commemorate the Battle of Hanover and celebrate the launch of the Heart of Hanover Trails.  The trails consist of 20 new historic wayside markers and other important historic assets in Hanover that will tell our stories and invite visitors learn about our community. All Events are held at the Guthrie Memorial Library, 2 Library Place, Hanover, PA unless otherwise noted.

11:00 a.m. Historian and Author Talk – Scott Mingus, Sr.: Southwestern York County During The Civil War -talk held in Library’s Bare Center

11:45 a.m. Book Signings and Q&A with Author

Noon Lunch on your own

1 p.m. Official Ribbon Cutting and Launch of Heart of Hanover Trail

1:30 p.m. Walking Tour led by Dr. Marc Charisse and Matthew Jackson, takes pedestrians to each stop on The Heart of Hanover Trail.
