HGAC Educational Speakers Series

Come to the GAR Hall for a presentation on the  Veterans of the U.S. Colored Troops who were from Gettysburg and Adams County.

With research compiled by the Adams County Historical Society, presenter Deb McCauslin shares letters, stories and statistics about these amazing men and recount what their Adams County families endured. McCauslin, well known for her many Gettysburg and Yellow Hill presentations, has discovered untold stories about the African American Civil War troops who marched through Richmond and witnessed the Confederate surrender at Appomattox.

Doors open at 7 p.m. and the lecture begins at 7:30. This event is free with no reservations required.
