Ice Cream Social and Book Sale

Help raise money for the Blue Ridge Summit Free Library and have lots of fun while you’re there.

More than 5,000 books are for sale, including selections for adults, teens and children along with audio books, DVDs, and music CDs will also be sold.

Early risers can join in the free 5K Fun Run.  

Activities for kids include fire truck rides, face painting, bubble making and friends from Forgotten Friend Reptile Sanctuary with interactive experiences for kids of all ages—with snakes, lizards, turtles and crocodiles. 

Hot dogs, BBQ pork, BBQ chicken, French fries, Rollin’ Pretzels food truck, drinks and baked goods available

Music and entertainment throughout the day. 

Parking is available in the plaza lot across from the library, off Monterey Lane and in other adjacent lots.
