Join Licensed Battlefield Guides as they discuss the leadership of the Battle of Gettysburg through specific events that took place over the 3-day battle.

Space is limited, and programs vary by guide. Some of the programs take place out on the battlefield, while others take place in the classroom.

Scheduled Programs:

• July 18th: Farthest to the Front: The Pettigrew Trimble Charge and Union Defense on July 3. Presented by LBG Jim Hessler

• July 25th: The leaders of Gettysburg…misbehaving and leading poorly. Presented by LBG Eric Lindblade

• August 1st: Examine President Abraham Lincoln’s self-taught education and experience as an attorney and how it helped him develop his leadership abilities, which ultimately led him to occupy the highest office in our land. Presented by LBG Chris Army

• August 8th: The Speed of Trust – An in depth look at General Standard and the 13th Vermont Regiment, Volunteer Infantry and 16th Vermont Regiment Volunteer Infantry during the last repulsion of the Confederate forces, Pickett’s Charge. Presented by LBG Paul Bailey
