Mount Hope Maple Madness

This year’s Mount Hope Maple Madness returns for two Saturdays – Feb. 25th and Mar. 4th.

Treat your family to an all-you-can-eat perfect pancake breakfast, featuring locally sourced syrup, sausage, and eggs. Take a tour with Strawberry Hill Naturalists and see the process of making maple syrup from tree to table. Try your hand at sugaring techniques and taste the finished product. Local Pennsylvania syrup is also for sale.

Strawberry Hill’s maple sugaring program began nearly thirty years ago with a copper kettle, a handful of tree taps, and a love of maple syrup. Over the years, it has blossomed into something almost unimaginable. Every winter, educational programs are provided to homeschool groups and families, scout troops, and private tours for the eco-minded. And what started as a little pancake breakfast and fundraiser has expanded into our ever-popular Mount Hope Maple Madness. It’s been an incredible journey.

You may purchase tickets individually to either the breakfast or the tour. A Sweet Deal Package gets you both breakfast and tour.  Tours last one hour and leave every 30 minutes beginning at 8:30 a.m. and ending at 11 a.m.
