Experience living history at the historic railroad station in downtown Gettysburg, featuring first-person impressions of officers who commanded and fought in the Battle of Gettysburg.

The ladies demonstrate home craft skills of the era, including bobbin lace, pen wipes, hand sewing and band box making. View exhibits of medical home remedies and medical practices of the time on display. Learn about the importance of the “home front” during the American Civil War, support and aid for the soldiers, and how the war affected families and communities.
