Purple Paws Pet Walk

The Adams County SPCA is partnering with YWCA Hanover SafeHome for the First Annual Purple Paws Pet Walk at the Gettysburg Rec Park on September 24th from 1-3pm.

There is no cost to participate, but donations are always welcome and will be split between our two organizations and we welcome sponsorships from businesses.

All money raised will be evenly split between the two non-profits. YWCA Hanover SafeHome helps assist victims with housing, clothing, legal advocacy and other services.

The Adams County SPCA assists with taking care of the victims’ animals, boarding, spay/neuter and vaccinations.

There will also be other community organizations present who can offer various types of assistance.

Let’s go for a walk and show victims of domestic violence that there are people who care and who want to help.
