Santa Claus is Coming to Gettysburg

SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN for a very special horse-drawn carriage ride through the Borough of Gettysburg.

• Departing the Gettysburg Heritage Center at 4:00 pm traveling North on Steinwehr Avenue.
• Turning left onto Baltimore Street (4:05 pm) and continuing towards Unity Park (4:15 pm).
•  Turning left onto South Street towards Washington Street, then turning left onto Washington Street (4:22 pm) passing the Gettysburg Hospital on the right.
• Turning right onto Johns Avenue (4:28 pm) and following Johns Ave to return to the parking lot of the Gettysburg Heritage Center (4:35 pm).

For families not directly on Santa’s route:
Please use the intersections of Unity Park, and the area on Washington Street from South.
Street to Johns Avenue to wave to Santa- these areas are more open and Santa can be seen from both sides of the street.
Please practice safe distancing. Santa will not be stopping on his route- he has to get back to the North Pole ASAP- but please note the carriage will be traveling approximately 2-3 miles per hour- so there will be many opportunities to get a picture of Santa’s Carriage and the Horses.
