Ghostly Images of Gettysburg
777 Baltimore Street
Gettysburg, Pennsylvania
You have certainly heard the soldier’s side of the “Battle of Gettysburg”; the dead and wounded, the courageous and the cowards, the strategies and struggles… History has recorded time and time again the perspectives given by the iconic officers and generals represented here. But what about the citizens and town folk living here during those fateful days?
Join Maria, a local librarian, who saw the events unfold first hand and survived the bloody conflict and horrible aftermath. She will present her eyewitness account from the perspective of the Gettysburg citizens.
The Soldiers may have moved on after the battle but the citizens were left to deal with the disaster which remained.
