Relax during this roundtrip scenic train ride through the Heritage Rail Trail County Park. This PRR GP9 Diesel Locomotive, built in 1959, takes you through the Southern York County countryside. With a stop at the historic Hanover Junction Station, passengers who are interested can disembark for a 30 minute layover can check out the Hanover Junction Museum and enjoy the outdoor sculptures. Those who would rather remain aboard can continue the scenic journey to Seven Valley.
(Wheelchair lift is not available at Hanover Junction; passengers who wish to exit the train must be able to climb up and down 6 steps without crew assistance.)
The coaches are pushed and pulled by a vintage diesel locomotive.
This excursion is 2 ½ hours, with a 30-minute layover at Hanover Junction.
Tickets will be printed and available for pick up at the ticket booth on the day of the excursion.
