Holidays in Gettysburg 2022 – A Special Schedule of Events

This year at the holidays, Gettysburg and Adams County are where you want to be.

In downtown Gettysburg, there’s free holiday parking on select streets, Mon-Thu, now through New Year’s.

Also, the Gettysburg Area Retail Merchants Association and its Christmas elves are giving away $1000 in gift certificates to random customers. Remember GARMA Gift Certificates are the perfect-sized gift for anyone on your list (they’re available at Artworks and the Gettysburg Heritage Center).

Children are encouraged to drop of their letters to Santa at mailboxes in Artworks, 30 York St, Best Western Hotel, 301 Steinwehr Ave. Kids who leave letters receive a Santa postcard and holiday drawing suitable for coloring.

• Christmas Caroling, begins at St. James Lutheran Church, Dec 23, 4:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
