Enjoy a special opening to explore the children’s history museum adventure at Children of Gettysburg 1863 from Noon until 5 p.m. and a special story time at 1 p.m.

 

Story time features the book I Am Martin Luther King, Jr. written by Brad Meltzer, which will be read to families and visitors from 1-1:30 p.m. inside the museum.

 

During a visit to the interactive children’s history museum, families are introduced to Gettysburg and its significance while supporting a new generation of young learners on an interactive start to a lifetime of learning, inspiration and creativity. Families can enjoy the story time on Monday, Jan. 16, 2023, at 1 p.m. and experience the museum adventure before or after the book reading. The story time is free and open to the public.

 

The Children of Gettysburg 1863 experience currently offers free admission for children/youth ages 12 and younger when accompanied by a ticketed adult. Tickets are available by calling 717-334-2436, online, at the Ticket Counter inside the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center and on-site at Children of Gettysburg 1863 located at 451 Baltimore Street in downtown Gettysburg, Pa.
