This is a regional event, one you might consider if venturing outside Adams County during your visit.

After two years the U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center is pleased to announce the return of our popular Army Heritage Days weekends – now expanded to two full weekends of history fun. Our second Army Heritage Days weekend is October 15 and 16 featuring LIVE running World War II era tanks and LIVE artillery firing demos. The event will also include living history displays, current-serving military equipment, historical weapons demonstrations, history-based STEM experiences such as a World War II coastal artillery station, and interactive tours of U.S. Army history.

Army Heritage Days is free and open to the public. To see living history in action, please join the U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center (USAHEC) at 950 Soldiers Drive, Carlisle, Pennsylvania. The event is from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday, October 15, 2022 and Sunday, October 16, 2022.

The event continues inside the Visitor and Education Center where visitors can participate in our very popular Veterans Meet and Greet and explore our indoor museum exhibits. Don’t forget to grab lunch at one of the many food vendors throughout the event, visit the museum store, and partake in the Army Heritage Center Foundation’s massive book sale. Parking is free and the USAHEC facility is accessible.
