The Jazz Doctors bring hard swingin’ jazz to Adams County. Dr. Austerlitz is a Professor of Music and Africana Studies at Gettysburg College, while Dr. Kennedy is a Professor of Mathematics, also at Gettysburg. John Leonard is a mainstay on the Maryland music scene, while Jon Seligman is an expert on Turkish music in addition to jazz. The Good Doctors will share Austerlitz’s original tunes as well as time-tested standards such as Duke Ellington’s “Take the A Train” and Erol Garner’s “Misty.”
