The Rocks of Gettysburg

Did you miss Tim’s program “The Rocks of Gettysburg” during the 160th? Don’t fret – Tim is back with one of his favorite programs.

The second and third day’s fighting at Gettysburg took place in and around many now-famous rock formations. From Devil’s Den to the Curious Rocks and the Slaughter Pen, many of these iconic landmarks remain unchanged to this day. Using rare historic views and obscure accounts, historian and rock enthusiast Tim Smith will give a special program on this, his favorite topic.

This free, non-ticketed public event will be held in the Battlefield Overlook Event Center.
