Ukrainian Egg Decorating Workshop

Learn the ancient art of decorating eggs in the Ukrainian tradition! This workshop will introduce this art, with each student creating beautifully decorated egg(s) (Pysanky) using a wax-relief dye method of color application. Learn about the colors, symbols, traditions and folklore surrounding this ancient craft form. This hands-on workshop is designed for adult students with an interest in detailed crafts. Cost of pysanky-specific tools are covered, an additional supply list will be sent. Bring a lunch and we will talk art over lunch.
