Under it All – Proper Lady’s Fashion in Civil War Times

Under It Allis a free program offered by Connie Clowers a.k.a Mrs. Grant, who is an accomplished seamstress. She has created over 60 period correct garments from the age of hoop skirts and Victorian fashions.

While living in Southern California, Connie was employed in the wardrobe department at Knotts Berry Farm where she created garments ranging from science fiction to historical period dress as well as cartoon character attire.

Following the demonstration there will time for conversation and further explorations of the fashions of the time.
