Sign up for a free evening of scientific discovery, break out telescopes, and search the night sky! Explore constellations only seen during the colder months. Discuss the astronomical event happening, learn about ancient cultures and what the solstice meant to their societies.

Gather in the nature classroom at 7 p.m. for warm refreshments. The program lasts about 60 minutes and includes using telescopes around the pond. Limited number of telescopes available so please bring your own if you have one. Flashlights provided.

Snow and/or ice is possible so please plan and dress accordingly.

For Scouts: This program meets the requirements for the following badges – Senior Sky and Senior Science Expert. You will receive a certificate of completion from Strawberry Hill.
