Mother Seton’s 250th Birthday Celebration

Start your school year with Elizabeth Ann Seton as we celebrate her 250^th Birthday!  Learn how Elizabeth Ann Seton came of age along with our country through engaging programming that runs all day long! Be sure to check out the brand new Museum and Gift Shop while you’re here too. Check out the Morning & Afternoon schedules below! 

Morning Schedule:

10am: Doors open

11am: Mass & Backpack Blessing: School children are invited to bring their backpacks to Mass for a special blessing as we approach the start of the school year!

12pm: A special performance will be given portraying a young Elizabeth Ann Bayley on her 15th birthday! Listen to Betty share memories of her early childhood.

12:15 – 4:30pm: Head outdoors for fun in the sun! Try your hand at 19^th century life by learning skills like laundry and playing historic games. While you’re out on the grounds, be sure to visit the two Historic Homes and grab a cupcake.
