The North Carolina Memorial on Seminary Ridge has etched in stone; “THIRTY TWO NORTH CAROLINA REGIMENTS WERE IN THE ACTION AT GETTYSBURG JULY 1, 2, 3, 1863. ONE CONFEDERATE SOLDIER IN EVERY FOUR WHO FELL HERE WAS A NORTH CAROLINIAN.”
Join the Members of the 26th North Carolina Infantry for a Living History Program at General Robert E. Lee’s Headquarters as they portray North Carolina at Gettysburg.
