String Day Concert

Get ready for an unforgettable musical experience at Gettysburg College’s String Day on Thursday, September 26! Seventy-one talented high school students from four local schools will join forces with the Sunderman Conservatory of Music faculty and students for an action-packed day of music-making and inspiration. The day ends with a spectacular side-by-side concert at the historic Majestic Theater at 7:30pm, where these young musicians will take the stage alongside members of the Sunderman Conservatory Orchestra string players for a performance you won’t want to miss. Repertoire include works by Piazzolla, Grieg, Newbold, Balmages, Bach, and Satie. It’s going to be an amazing day of learning, performing, and making lifelong musical memories!
