Bring the whole family to an afternoon of magical music and storytelling at the Sunderman Conservatory Wind Symphony’s Annual Family Pops Concert, led by conductor Dr. Russell McCutcheon.
This year’s theme, Fairy Tales and Fables, will transport you into enchanting worlds with beloved music from Frozen, Beauty and the Beast, and more.
The highlight of the program is a special performance of Edvard Grieg’s Symphonic Dances, Op. 64, paired with the classic 1957 animated film The Snow Queen, based on Hans Christian Andersen’s timeless story—the very tale that inspired Frozen!
Experience this unique combination of masterful music and captivating visuals, perfect for audiences of all ages.
The concert takes place at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 16, in Gettysburg’s Majestic Theater. $5.00 for adults/Free for children 18 and under & those with a Gettysburg College ID. Tickets available online, at 717-337-8200, or at the door.
