The Drummer Boy of Fort McHenry with Tim Smith

Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Tim Smith has always had close ties to Fort McHenry National Monument and spent countless hours there in his youth. Later, upon researching his family history, he discovered that his Great-Great-Great-Great Grandfather was present during the British Bombardment in September 1814 and was one of the last surviving defenders of the fort.
