World War II: American Experience has an exciting day planned to celebrate the inspirational and unprecedented contributions of women. During World War II nearly 350,000 women on the home front and in support of the battlefield abroad paved the way for women to enter all areas of the workforce and the military we see today.
Doors open at 10:00 am and guests are invited to visit displays and exhibits all day throughout the museum and enjoy presentations by living historians and museum staff.

11:00am A few words from our Girl Scouts!
12:00pm Erin Miller, author of Final Flight.
2:00pm Amy Welsh and Tinsy Labrie, Destination Gettysburg.
3:00pm Gettysburg Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution
4:00pm Distinguished guest speakers Ms. Colleen Donnelly, Professional Staff Member, U. S. Senate and Ms. Robin Guillian, Director of Aviation, Vermont State University.
