Historic 1856 stone home built by Peter Crosta, a lace weaver in the prosperous carriage building industry. The house stands on the Eastern edge of town, and on July 2, 1863, there was nothing between the house and Cemetery Hill. Today, the home has been beautifully restored, and offers guests a fully ADA accessible downstairs including a bedroom with private accessible bath, fully accessible kitchen, and lovely front parlor. Upstairs guests will find two private suites, each with their own sitting room and bath. Step out back and enjoy seasonable fruit and vegetables in the kitchen garden, and the walk to area restaurants wineries and attractions. Gettysburg College is a quick 10 minute walk.
We have two suites, and one standard bedroom, sleeping eight. The downstairs suite is handicap accessible. .
