Gettysburg Battlefield Bus Tours Offers New Pour Tour Shuttle

New shuttle experience to launch April 26 and features two unique routes

04/15/19

Starting on Friday, April 26, Gettysburg Battlefield Bus Tours will be offering a shuttle tour of select Adams County Pour Tour locations alternating weekly between downtown Gettysburg and countryside tours. Shuttles are scheduled for Friday evenings 5-9 p.m. with varying locations throughout the season.

“Gettysburg Tours has consistently been getting requests from travelers looking for transportation to the Pour Tour locations, which is why we saw a need to partner with Pour Tour partners and give visitors this option,” said Max Felty, President of Gettysburg Tours Inc. “We continue to see the rise in popularity of the tour and only expect more people to participate now that there’s a safe transportation option.”

Each tour will promote the opportunity to reach the Excursionist level on the Pour Tour which comes with a set of branded coasters.

The shuttle will pick up and drop off guests that are within five miles of Lincoln Square at their desired location, such as a hotel. Otherwise, guests can meet the shuttle at the Gettysburg Tour Center. This will be arranged at the time of booking. Passports and trail maps will be available to each guest if they do not already have one.

Tickets for the Pour Tour Shuttle are $35 per person and come with convenient pick up and drop off, complimentary water, passports, a free gift and a knowledgeable guide. There are a limited number of spots per shuttle and guests must be 21 years or older and show a valid ID upon pick up. Guests will be contacted 48 hours prior to departure to determine a specific pick up time.

The Adams County Pour Tour features 15 wine, beer, cider and spirit makers with a total of 22 possible passport stamps. Guests of the Pour Tour Shuttle can return at any time to sample additional beverages and complete their passport.

The Pour Tour is currently undergoing an expansion and will soon feature a total of 18 unique beverage makers with a total of 34 possible stamps.
