This month, the Mansion House 1757 in nearby Fairfield, Pa., is inviting you back into the kitchen for a series of cooking classes featuring a new cuisine each Monday. Join Chef George Keeney, who will share his cooking techniques while students prepare a meal and feast afterward.
The Gettysburg Heritage Center’s “Reenactor Recruitment Day” promises an exciting opportunity for history enthusiasts to explore and potentially join a reenactor group. Keeping history alive, the 2025 Reenactor Appreciation Weekend takes place March 21-23 throughout Gettysburg. Featuring free history lectures and more, the event is open to the public as well as prospective Civil War reenactors.
