Haunted Jennie Wade House Tours

Since 2003, the Jennie Wade House has welcomed visitors for a spine-chilling journey into one of America’s most haunted historic homes. Guests step back in time to hear tales of resident spirits, ghostly soldiers, heartbroken women, and other paranormal activity.

Tour participants enter through the same doorway struck by a bullet on July 3, 1863, which killed young Jennie Wade, the only civilian casualty of the Battle of Gettysburg. Many spirits are said to linger, awaiting visitors eager to explore the home’s haunted history.

Known as one of the most haunted houses in the country, the Jennie Wade House has been featured on several paranormal television series, as well as YouTube and TikTok, and is listed by the Travel Channel as one of the most haunted homes in America.

Tours last approximately 90 minutes and include climbing stairs and light walking.

Guests with physical impairments should contact Ghostly Images of Gettysburg at least 14 days in advance to ensure accommodations.

Only service animals are permitted on tours.

Tours depart from the Tour Center at 778 Baltimore Street.
