East Berlin Colonial Day

East Berlin Neighbors presents the 50th Annual Colonial Day on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in East Berlin, PA. This milestone celebration transforms Main Street into a lively colonial marketplace filled with history, craftsmanship, food, music, and community spirit.

More than 200 craftspeople bring traditional and modern skills to the festival, including blacksmithing, weaving, candle making, soap making, woodworking, pottery, jewelry, and other handmade arts. Visitors can watch artisans demonstrate historic trades, shop one-of-a-kind goods, enjoy live entertainment, and sample festival favorites throughout the day.

Colonial Day also highlights East Berlin’s 18th-century heritage through tours of historic log homes, taverns, museum exhibits, and other preserved sites. Interactive demonstrations offer an engaging look at colonial life while connecting the town’s past with the creativity of today’s makers, students, performers, and local organizations.

For five decades, Colonial Day has celebrated the people, traditions, and industrious spirit that shaped East Berlin. The festival supports historic preservation, strengthens community pride, and offers a full day of discovery in the heart of town.
