Guests are invited to an evening of intrigue, suspense, and deception at Battlefield Bed and Breakfast during Mystery Dinner: Mayhem at the Masquerade. Attendees will don elegant masks, enjoy a delicious meal, and become part of a thrilling interactive mystery filled with secrets, surprises, and dramatic twists. This in-person experience blends immersive storytelling with fine dining for a night where nothing is quite as it seems.

The mystery begins over appetizers, with the story unfolding in multiple rounds that align with each course of the four-course dinner. As overlapping storylines develop, guests will gather clues, exchange information, and attempt to solve the mystery before the detective reveals the truth—or before the culprit manages to escape.

All attendees are assigned roles within the mystery, and guests may request in advance whether they prefer a primary, highly interactive role or a more low-profile character.

An optional Friday evening Sleuth Social will take place at 5:00 p.m. and may be added for an additional $25. Overnight Bed and Breakfast guests may attend the social hour at no additional charge.

Mayhem at the Masquerade is set in the troubled town of Bloodworth Falls, a place plagued by scandal, corruption, and public unrest. Despite the town’s dark reputation, the mayor has announced a grand masquerade ball at the historic Bloodwood Castle, with tickets selling out at record speed. The townspeople are suspicious of the mayor’s sudden attempt at goodwill, and anticipation for the event hangs heavy in the air as guests prepare their disguises. Unease grows as toxic personalities converge for one unforgettable night. One guest discovers their invitation arrived mysteriously in an unmarked envelope, raising troubling questions about who wants them there—and why. As the drama unfolds, guests must gather information, trade clues, and uncover the truth before the perpetrators get away.
